The Southeast Recycling Conference & Trade Show (SERC) is an on going educational and networking event that focuses on specific Issues related to recycling.
The conference was started almost 40 years ago in Montgomery, Alabama. The picture to the left contain folks we need to be thankful for. They include Francis Kennedy, Hazel Mobley, Scott Grounsell and Martha McInnis.
We call it the Southeast Recycling Conference but 65% of our attendees come from outside the Southeast.
The typical attendance is right at 400 people with the make up being, recycling coordinators, solid waste directors, environmental regulators, recycling processors, brokers, recyclers, equipment manufactures, NGO trade associations, and corporate sustainability reps.
In 2006, the Southern Waste Information eXchange, Inc. (SWIX) a 501(c)(3) non-profit took over the operation of the conference.
Conference oversight is provided by SWIX and the organization of the event is conducted by Environmental Industry & Conference Management (EICM) lead by Nicki Mayfield and Dana Jones.
Our desire is to provide you recycling solutions, valuable contacts and productive networking opportunities.
