Overview of Systems for Recycling and Reuse of Construction and Demolition Material

This presentation will explore many of the various processes in use and proposed for recycling of C&D materials.  The systems will be classified as to the types of C&D materials processed, whether mixed interior/exterior or single stream interior or exterior.  Recycled products will be identified along with their end uses.

Mr. Curro is a principal engineer with CDM Smith in Boston, Massachusetts. He has more than 50 years of experience in solid waste projects. He has served as the lead design engineer for numerous recycling, mechanical waste processing, landfill, incineration and waste reclamation systems. He has developed and implemented a number of innovative systems for recyclables processing and materials recovery.
