Carpet recycling in the U.S. has long been a challenge. CARE, now in operation for over 17 years, is the only organization focused on carpet recycling. What works and what does not, barriers to carpet recycling and market dynamics. In addition, we will look at where recycling takes place and innovative new processes and products that use post-consumer carpet. There will be time for detailed questions and answer.
1. Develop an understanding of carpet recycling and the challenges.
2. Gain an appreciation for how carpet is recycled and process technologies available.
3. Learn about products available with post-consumer carpet content and Double GreenSMproducts.
4. What are the key contacts for additional information when it comes to carpet recycling.
